Dust regularly with a clean, dry microfibre cloth and vacuum seams using a low-suction upholstery attachment. For hair-on-hide upholstery, vacuum gently in the direction of the hair and avoid rotating brush heads or vigorous rubbing, which can loosen the hair. Blot spills immediately, working from the outside in, and avoid saturating the hide. For grease spots, skip the water, as they will gradually blend into the leather. Avoid household cleaners, conditioners, and oils unless specifically approved for hair-on-hide leather. Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, and AC vents. Some shedding is natural; do not pull loose hairs. For deeper cleaning, professional leather care is recommended.
